Registered Psychotherapist
Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling

In my practice, you'll find a haven of support grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based methods, where judgement is left at the door, and understanding takes its place.
Recognising the uniqueness of each individual, my approach is to collaborate closely with you, fostering understanding, resolution, and healing.
No matter the nature of your life's challenges or mental health concerns, we'll confront them as a united front.
Embrace this crucial step towards healing, and rest assured, you are not walking this path alone.
I have an extensive background in aiding adults through complex mental health challenges, all of which were underscored by trauma. In addition, I provide support to individuals experiencing relationship issues and DV, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and loss and grief.
Beyond my role as a mental health practitioner, I serve as a sessional academic in the Master of Psychotherapy and Counselling program at Western Sydney University (WSU) and ACAP. I also contribute as a crisis counsellor for Lifeline, building on my previous experience as a psychotherapist at a walk-in centre in Darlinghurst.
My academic path has evolved over 12 years of university study, eventually leading to a Master's in Psychotherapy and Counselling from WSU — achieved with Distinction and a place on the Dean's Merit List.
Prior to entering this field, I earned a Natural Sciences first-class honours degree and a doctorate from the ANU. This strong foundation in scientific inquiry and analysis significantly enhances and underpins my skills in mental health. During my undergraduate studies, I was honoured with a bursary, and my PhD research was further recognised through scholarship offers and grants from university, government, and industry sources.
I am a Registered Clinical Therapist and a Certified Practising Counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. I am also an associate member of the EMDR Association of Australia, and a Griefline Accredited Counsellor, with Advanced Grief Theories training.
I have Mental Health First Aid and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.
Before becoming a therapist, I thrived in diverse roles: an academic and scientist at the ANU and UNSW respectively, CEO of an overseas company, mentor to teens, and primary carer for my elderly mother.
In my scientific career, I have contributed to international journals and presented at various conferences
My work with teens involved encouraging and empowering them; giving them positions of responsibility within my organisation.
Every aspect of my journey enriches and fortifies my practice. I strive to do my best in all that I face. I do not give up easily on anything, as I will never give up on you.
